About Ology

Our mission is to accelerate knowledge.

We believe that science is one of society's greatest assets and that it should be easy and free for anyone to find trustworthy knowledge. Ology allows you to freely access, save, and comment on the most rigorous knowledge publicly available today: peer-reviewed science.

Right now Ology brings to you millions of scientific articles indexed within the Directory of Open Access Journals. But this is only the first step. We will soon be able to provide additional open access content including additional articles, peer reviews, preprints, and more!

Our ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between science and the general public. We will do this through two initial offerings: First we’re going to expand our content set by hosting a podcast wherein we interview publishing scientists to understand, at a foundational level, what they found out and why it matters. Second, we’re launching an expert consultation service wherein we connect organizations, businesses, and individuals who are in need of subject matter expertise to our growing bank of expert consultants.

This is just the beginning. Register today and become part of the conversation!
